My 'Colourscape' range of jewellery is currently in the window of Belfast's top contemporary, design-led jewellery retailer,The Steenson's of Bedford Street.  My work is part of the 'Home-grown Irish Designs' showcase, which also features Diane Lyness, Jill Graham, Alan Ardiff, Nora Watson and The Steenson's own range.

Visiting Wolf & Badger Shops in London

I was recently in London with my boyfriend (potter and soon to be husband) Adam Frew.  He was doing the international fair, Ceramic Art London.  I had the chance to visit both Wolf & Badger shops that have my 'Jelly Bean' vessels, one in Notting Hill and the other in Mayfair.

I loved their use of wall-mounted boxes for display.

'Jelly Beans' at Wolf and Badger

One of the contacts I made at 'Craft' ( a trade fair I did at Earl's Court, London at the beginning of January)  was one half of Wolf & Badger, 'the leading destination for independent designer fashion, jewellery and homewares'.  Henry Graham and his brother George have 2 shops in London, one in Notting Hill and one in Mayfair, as well as an online shop.  They have chosen to stock my 'Jelly Bean' pieces.

'Jelly Beans' are made using the colour-overlay technique, there is a vivid opaque colour interior and a dark transparent colour exterior.  This means that when the piece is blown out the interior colour shines through the darker colour to create a juicy, graduated effect.

Take a look at them on Wolf & Badger's website here

Stocking the Giant's Causeway Gift Shop

I have just completed the largest order for jewellery to date...and it was MASSIVE!! I also had a pretty tight timeline as the National Trust were keen to have the work quickly for summer sales.

So, now I officially stock the National Trust's Gift Shop at the Giant's Causeway!  I am particularly excited about this, not just because it is the number 1 visitor attraction in Northern Ireland, but also because it is so close to my studio in Portstewart!

I have specially designed a range of 'Puffin' pendants and earrings for the shop, so I'm looking forward to seeing how these are received.

Atelier Victor Branco, Belfast

For the last month or so I have had my work displayed in Victor Branco's magnificent interior design show room on Wellington Place in Belfast.  It's a real gem in the city centre, a riot of colour and pattern that cleverly works together, in a relatively small space, and a beautiful selection of elegant vintage furniture. Needless to say I would happily take it all home with me!

Portuguese interior designer, Victor graduated from the University of Ulster in 2011 and seems set on establishing a high quality interior design firm in Belfast.  I am delighted to have some of my pieces stocked with him as both our aesthetic approaches compliment each other as you can see from the great photos Victor sent me.

If you're in Belfast on either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday his studio is open from 11am-5pm.
